Leaves are yellowing on a variety of well-established large trees and some poplars are dropping last numberds of leaves.  A large larch tree has needles turning yellow - highly abnormal for July. Soil so dry in my honeyberry patch I had to use a knife then a metal rod to get a hole to insert a sprinkler peg. Lawn grass is of course, crispy. Unwatered garden corn wrinkled and less than 4 ft. tall, tasseling out. Local water pond has dried up and the rancher is hauling water and feed for his cattle daily, pasture very poor.
