Precip .01" and trace accumulation, which melted quickly. SPW-/SW- 1700-1800 MDT, precip +.02", trace accumulation. Snow melted soon after contact with ground.   View

Apparently snowed twice as much one county to the north, not unprecedented this winter.   View

A little more snow came in the night. This is the first time I remember snow changing to rain in over 40 years of living in this spot and another 30 of living on the west side of Boulder.   View

I did not observe any thunder or lightning during the graupel episodes. Overnight had freezing fog present and the freezing fog is still present as of 0700 and dense (visibility about 100-150 meters) Precip in the gauge catch is a combo of rain, graupel, snow and fog condensate).   View

Periods of zero visibility forcing you to stop and wait for the gust to die down. 43mphW with gusts well over 50mph at 9:00 p.m. Calm with a little fog and frost this morning. Smells like moisture. Hopefully, we can get more than a smell very very soon!   View
