Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: TX-BND-55
Station Name: Medina 1.1 S
Report Date: 1/20/2018
Submitted: 1/20/2018 8:32 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
The moisture we received during the winter storm earlier this week mostly sublimated and was of no particular benefit. Further the .02" of light rain we have received the last two days have also not been of any benefit insofar as putting a meaningful dent in the dryness of everything.
Ground is hard and cracked. Plants dormant, but deer (whitetail and Axis) have been very active last couple of days, supposing that they were hunkered down during the coldest and windiest of the days during the storm. Most are probably on the move to the river for water.
Medina River USGS gauge at Patterson Street in Medina is at 4.65 ft this morning, unchanged from this time last week.
