First off, I would like to say apologies for not writing last week. Was rather busy. However, in the last two weeks, we haven’t received much rain. Only 0.04 inches of rain has fallen, and that has come from convection that doesn’t really reach the surface and as a result, has resulted in wildfires in the mountains locally. The grass is rather brown, and not many patches of green grass remain. We are in more seasonable conditions with very limited rainfall.
Even though it’s very early reading, we are above normal for this time in July. In fact, 177% above normal. However, I don’t expect any kind of dramatic uptick in precipitation. It is summer after all. Well, I will see you all next week for another report and hopefully you all had a great Fourth of July. Take care!
