Morning fog and marine layer clouds in the morning earlier this week, but the past few days have been clear and a bit windy.  The weather for the 4th was just about perfect for the annual funky parade here in Mendocino -- worth looking at the photos -- and the area was packed with tourists. Our fire department Strike Team is watching the fires around CA and might be called, but no fires on our part of the coast at this point. We have three young foxes in our gardens and they are running and playing like mad in the morning. A few fawns have also been sighted locally. Our local services district has given a warning that because of limited rain in April and May, there could be water restrictions by the end of the summer.
