Only two tenths this week plus hot weather causing the ground to dry. Some corn leaves are cigaring. Gardens need watering, potted plants too. Still very green though. Row crops are doing well especially the areas that had good rain last Friday. Corn is tasseling, some sweet corn is being harvested. Time to dig potatoes. Fat brood cows and calves. Some haying remains.
