3.52” rain this past week (included part of June); 2.52” for July. Going from near normal to mildly wet this week due to the heavy rain in thunderstorms. Lots of standing water (great for mosquitos) today after yesterday and  last night’s 2.14” rain. LOTS of mosquitos stirred up by all the recent rain makes any outside activities rough unless using repellent or Thermacell, even if outside for a few minutes. SC Forestry app showing 6 wildfires across the state. Birds and squirrels still active at the feeders even though plants are now growing well. Lawns and shrubs doing great with the recent rains. The weeds love it, too.
