Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NC-DH-48
Station Name: Durham 4.5 N
Report Date: 6/23/2025
Submitted: 6/23/2025 11:16 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Over the past 10 days we have received 2.74 inches of rain. With the high temperatures over the past 3 days, the low wet spot is very slightly damp and only one crack in the ground has started to appear. We are close to achieving our monthly average with a week to go.

The vegetation appears healthy. The Forsythia leaves are "up" indicating adequate ground water. There are crab apples on our Crab Apple tree but no buds on our Rose Bush. There are a number of nuts on the ground beneath our Shagbark Hickory tree.

The Bluebird chicks we were watching have fledged and the nest is empty. There are Cardinal chicks flying and eating from our feeders. We have seen a Brown headed Nuthatch taking seed from one of our feeders and flying away with the seed in its bill.
