Since last reported on 06/08/2025, received 0.14" of precipitation recorded on Multi-Day Accumulation from 06/14 through 06/19. Since returning home, no precipitation has been recorded. Hot, dry and windy days have been the norm lately. Consequently, the topsoil moisture content has gone from plentiful to non-existent. Topsoil sample taken today indicates dry powdery soil down to 3.0". However, grass and weeds remain green despite the dry conditions. As a result, no Red Flag Warnings for our area have been posted. Miller Moth migration has been almost non-existent in our area. Otherwise, wildlife activity has been normal. Birds are very active in the morning hours. I have been watering trees that were planted the past year. One Cottonwood tree still shows no sign of life and will be replaced. All other trees are doing very good. With the grass remaining green despite the dry conditions, I will revise the Condition Scale from Mildly Wet to Mildly Dry.
