Updated 6/4/25:  Area received significant p.m. rains adding  1.42 to this rain total - making it 3.2 in rain since 5/28.
5"+ of rain fell just to our West near Emporia.  Our area is very wet so I'm upgrading from Near Normal to Mildly Wet conditions.  Creeks are flooding and Flood warnings for all the surrounding area.

As of 6/3:  1.78 in total rain since 5/28; 1.02 in rains overnight- nice periodic rains have kept the subsoil moist.  Song birds are everywhere.  Corn is really taking off and about 18 in high.  Soybeans will be late this year due to wet soil conditions in late May.  Temps are starting to come up and it's looking more like June.
