December came in with a trace of snow and high winds both of which caused travel woes.  Temps were low for several days causing ice to form on the rivers and ponds.  The Cedar River is quite low with mostly sandbars showing.  Then this weekend the temps were back in the 40's and 50's clearing out the ice.
