No rain this week with near normal temps, only had 1.4 inches so far this month when the 30-year average is 4.6 inches, and April was about 1 inch below normal. USDA Drought Monitor shows my station on the edge of being Abnormally Dry. Soil is dry and raised beds have to be watered every other day. Grass is  browning in spots. The bird bath and fountains are popular with the birds, and a hummingbird flies through the lawn sprinkler.
