Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-LR-259
Station Name: FCL 2.5 W

Taken at registered location: True
Notes: No hail pad deployed. A few very slight dents in cars. Larger hail was noticeably non-spherical (not conical either), but more like a flattened sphere or lens-shaped; sizes above refer to the larger 2D circular diameter, while the 3rd dimension thickness was about 1/2 the diameter. Seems like about equal amounts of precip (0.73" total) due to rain and hail. Open 4" gage collected 0.73", while adjacent 4" gage with funnel/inner tube collected only 0.64" due to some hailstones bouncing out. Most hail occured in about 8min, most of the precip in 12min, with total precip duration 20-25min.
