After a partly cloudy, unseasonably COOL, breezy, but DRY day, ASH Street garden and other central Boone county community gardens/small farms condition monitoring remains has shown little change. That is, 90% mildly wet and 10% near normal. The forecast near normal temperatures, breezy southwest winds and continued DRY should be favorable for more drying on Wednesday 9/30/2020. In spite of much needed rainfall, the growth of garden summer vegetables remains slow, if at all. However, plots where fall vegetables have been planted show promise!!
