Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: OK-TL-53
Station Name: Tulsa 1.4 S
Report Date: 1/20/2018
Submitted: 1/20/2018 12:45 PM
Scale Bar: Mildly Wet
Description:
While a large part of the state is slipping into drought the soil remains noticeably moist here as noted in mulched beds and turf areas. Vegetation, though, is very dry. A couple of warm and windy days expected so fire danger is elevated. Single digit lows earlier in the week resulted in numerous water main breaks and frozen pipe incidents, especially bad when fire sprinkler systems burst (several of those reported.) Hoping for rain ahead of the next CoFro tomorrow but going to enjoy running around in a tshirt today! Have noted many people enjoying being outdoors for a change. Get it while you can!
