January 14-20, 2018: 0.67 total inches rain, most occurring on Thursday/Friday. Light rain with a few snow showers on Tuesday  but very little snow and no accumulations on the valley floor. An all-time record breaking daily high temp. of 58° F in the afernoon January 18th (Thursday)-- a warm front ahead of colder/wet Thursday evening/night. Some trees are shedding leaf caps. Some greening of cottonwoods. Grass is green, very early bulbs are showing green leaf growth. Pollen allergy symptoms since the middle of last week-- very early for winter pollen problems to begin. Flu is nationally at peak epidemic numbers. Anna's hummingbird still at the feeders each day.
