another week of temperature extremes - from 70 one day to 22 and then back to 70.  had belpw freezing temp for over a 24 hour period this week.  all water troughs had ice on top. and froze waterlines in to house.  had freezing rain one morning.  any tender vegetation left took another hit this 
week.  had around 1” of slow rain this week so it soaked in to the ground, still have muddy conditions and puddled water today.  with recent freezes and high winds fire danger from dead standing range grasses has dramatically increased.  winter grasses looking good, just growing slow.
