This was going to be mildly dry, but the 1.35" we've received overnight (and it's still raining) has bumped it up some. Have had to water both the garden and the yard; ground was beginning to pull away from the house foundation. Grass showing heat stress and insects have not been nearly as active as they have been over the past month or so.
